How much are tickets to Rubber Tramp Rendezvous (RTR) 2023?

As always, tickets to the Rubber Tramp Rendezvous 2023 are free! In fact, you don't even need a ticket at all. Just show up at the Quartzsite Town Park Baseball field the week of January 13-20, and experience all the RTR has to offer. What is RTR 2023?

RTR 2023, also known as Rubber Tramp Rendezvous 2023 is a gathering of nomadic dwellers, or people who live full-time in their RVs, which takes place every winter in Quartzsite, Arizona. Snowbirds, and RVers from all of the 48 continuous states attend the RTR every year. In 2020, their were over 10,000 RTR attendees, and those numbers grow every year.


At RTR 2023, you'll find classes, shops, swap meets, and vendors for everything having to do with recreational vehicles and nomadic living. From classes on the philosophy of nomadic living with Bob Wells, to safety on the road, how to find free camp sites, and camp etiquette, to expert solar panel installation services, you'll find it all at the 2023 Rubber Tramp Rendezvous.


One of the all-time favorite attractions of the RTR every year is the free pile. That's right; people actually give away free stuff at the RTR, and all you have to do is show up to get your hands on it. If you have useful stuff to give away, you can add your belongings to the free pile. Or, if you need something while you're visiting Quartzsite, Arizona, you can stop by the free pile and get what you need without paying for it.


Can you bring dogs to the Rubber Tramp Rendezvous?

Yes, dogs are welcome at RTR 2023 as long as they are on a leash, and non-aggressive. You also must pick up your dog's poop at the RTR, so make sure you bring poop bags. The Rubber Tramp Rendezvous is dog friendly, so feel free to bring your four-legged friends!


RTR 2023 is also a great place to find a winter job!

If you are looking for a winter job in Quartzsite Arizona, odds are you'll find one at the 2023 RTR. Since the even coincides with the world-famous RV show, there are thousands of people looking to hire seasonal help. From cashiers and vendors, to movers, stockers, sorters, and every other type of seasonal or entry-level job you can imagine, there are plenty of jobs available in Quartzsite. Basically, all you have to do to get one of these seasonal jobs is show up (and have a clean record.)


What stores are avaialable nearby during the RTR?

There isn't a ton of formal shopping options available in Quartzsite, however you will find vendors in tents and vans selling just about everything imagineable. If you are looking for a more corporate shopping experience, or name brand fast-food joints, you have several options. There is a Loves and a Terribles gas station nearby, as well as several fast food options. You have Burger King, McDonalds, Carl's Jr, Subway, Chester's Chicken, and Dairy Queen.


If you're looking for groceries, your options are limited. For pre-packaged items and canned food, your best bet is the discount grocery tent at Tyson Wells. They have great prices on pretty much eveything that comes in a package. If you want fresh produce, however, you'll need to find it at one of the vendor stands around town, or else drive the 30 minutes to a real grocery store in Blythe, California.
