Here are some ways to do it:
1. Identify the keywords you want to rank for. Start by identifying the keywords you want to rank for in the search engine results page (SERP). You can use Google’s free Keyword Planner Tool, Ahrefs Keywords Explorer Tool, our my favorite: Shine Ranker, to find the keywords that people search when they want to know about things related to your industry.
2. Optimize your videos’ title, description and tags around these keywords. YouTube has two places where you can add keywords – the video title and description. So make sure you’re using these keywords in both places and also in the tags section of your video upload page.
3. Write an informative, keyword-rich video description. Since search engines can’t watch or listen to your video, the only way they’ll know what it’s about is by reading the text you provide for it. So make sure you write an amazing description for each video with at least one relevant keyword included at the beginning of the description.

Here are a few tips for choosing keywords:
Try to choose keywords with buyer intent (examples: how to, best way to…)
Make sure the keywords have good search volume using tools like Google Keyword Planner and Keywords Everywhere (a browser extension).
